St Petersburg

Julie did heaps of research and discovered Tatiana’s Russian Adventure Tours, an incredible private guide service. Tatiana picked us up from the airport, drove us round to all the places we wanted to see, avoided all the queues, and kept us fully entertained.

She introduced us to Natalia Sorokina who ran a wonderful B&B and at the end of our stay insisted on introducing us to Russian vodka, not the rubbish they sell to the west. We ran out of toasts and finished the bottle, amazingly waking with clear heads the next day.  We’re still in touch on Facebook.
