Willys Overland Roundup 2018

Our friend Les Johnson had worked tirelessly over a number of years to bring together the majority of still operating early Willys Overland vehicles in Australia.

I’d been helping him from time to time designing artwork and doing other small chores and when the event happened from 15th to the 19th November in Orange NSW, Julie and I naturally put up our hands and asked Les if he would like us to photograph the event and maybe produce a small booklet.

There were something like 30 cars at the event. Julie and I were made to feel incredible welcome by all the participants, and this is the result.

I have bookmarked a page in Motors & Motorsport to provide some more background and will get round to this in due course.
